From start to finish, here are some great photos of a recent kitchen remodel we completed. Call it remodel on a budget. To save approximately $5,000, the original cabinets were kept and simply rearranged to accommodate a more open floor plan. A wall was removed, new lighting installed, a ceramic and glass tile back splash, some new trim designs, and a faux marble counter top. Even though the wall cabinets were rearragned, the homeowner actually gained 7.2 square feet of cabinet space.
