Built by Judge Turner before the turn of the last century, this little home in downtown Grand Haven was full of details worth preserving.
In this case, we carefully reproduced a baluster & railing system to match the original. During construction we discovered that the primary post holding up the porch roof was beyond repair and needed to be partially replaced. This little detail merited it's own page and can be seen elsewhere on our website.
Damaged floor boards were removed and a composite perimeter installed. The homeowner did the final painting after we left. It was a great little project and the railing is ready for the next 100 years.
