Craftsman Garage & Office on Lake in Grand Haven

This project is likely to attain "Signature Status" in the BruggerHouse Collection. After exhaustive research of plans on line and in Craftsman style bungalow books, we designed this garage and overhead office to match the style and character of our clients home... with a few extras, just because we can.

Closed Cell Foam Insulation in the ceiling and R-21 Fiberglass in the walls. This is going to be one very energy efficient garage. Electric radiant heat will go down on the floor and be covered by an engineered hardwood flooring.

A rough sketch got us moving in the right direction.

The old garage had, shall we say, expired it's usefulness. The homeowners look forward to being able to park a car inside the new garage for the first time in 10 years.

A view from the front, facing east with a special thanks to Joel Baker and his crew for giving us a hand with the early stages of the project!

We just love the "skeleton" of a solid structure. The extended rafter tails will stay on as a part of the new building; a key design element to any Craftsman inspired project.
